Cold Room Rentals

Cold Room Rentals approached me with the goal of creating a hand-drawn animation to advertise the various features and benefits of their cold storage solutions. They were looking for a visually engaging way to showcase different aspects of their service—highlighting not just the product itself, but the flexibility and reliability that set their offerings apart.

From the outset, we decided on a fully hand-drawn aesthetic to give the animation a unique and approachable feel. The entire animation was illustrated frame-by-frame in Procreate, allowing for a rich, organic style that aligned with the brand’s friendly and dependable image. Once the artwork was complete, I brought the scenes into Adobe After Effects for compositing, timing adjustments, transitions, and additional effects to enhance the overall flow and polish of the piece.

After the main animation was completed and delivered, I created an additional asset: a spinning 3D-style Cold Room, which was built in Moho. This element added an extra dynamic layer to the project and has since been used independently across the company’s marketing materials.

This project was a great example of combining traditional techniques with modern software tools to create a custom, stylized promotional animation that stands out in a digital landscape.
