Lunar New Year
To celebrate the Lunar New Year, I created this short animation as a personal project, inspired by the playful symbolism of the Year of the Snake. The goal was to produce something fun, festive, and visually rich—blending traditional themes with a stylized, modern execution.
The process began with illustrating the snake and car in Procreate, where I focused on building strong forms and bold character design. I then brought the assets into Moho for animation, using its rigging system to achieve smooth movement and a faux-3D effect on the car. This piece was a chance to experiment with stylised motion and texture, and I’m really pleased with how it came together—especially the way the animation captures the snake’s fluid motion and the car’s dynamic presence.
